You then use the ability and target your Soulherder, but your opponent responds with Deflecting Swat to give protection to their creature instead
In fact, there are only nine Magics in the set that deal damage directly: two Elites (Arcane Barrage and Ball Lightning), four Exceptionals (Firebreathing, Lava Flow, Snowball, and Stone Rain), and three Ordinaries (Arc Lightning, Burning Hands, and Magic Missiles)
